This 14.4v driver is a good alternative driver for those looking for more power than a typical 12v model, but don’t want to break the bank on a 18v tool that has more power than they really need.
Replaceable brushes add to the lifetime of the tool, while extras like LED headlights and a comfortable grip make it a pleasure to use.
That being said, this is now getting to be an older model from Makita; you may want to check out their newer compact driver, the Makita BTD142HW – it often can be had for the same price.
