The next generation impact driver from Ryobi has some good improvements – there is little reason to buy the older model now that the Ryobi P236 is available.
It’s faster and stronger, clocking in at a beefy 1600 in-lbs of torque (on paper). It’s lighter, too, which was one of the main complaints on the P230
Like it’s other ONE+ tools, Ryobi allows you to use either lithium-ion or the older NiCad batteries. This makes for a great way to upgrade without having to purchase and entirely new kit.
