This is a great little kit that regularly drops to nearly $200 – that’s roughly the price of the same kit, but without the drill.
The DCF885 Impact driver is the 2nd most powerful in the DeWALT line-up, being beat out only by it’s brushless brother, the DCF895. The 3-LEDs that surround the collar eliminate shadows in dim areas, staying on a full 20 seconds after releasing the trigger.
The drill is powerful, yet compact. While some people have complained about a slight wobble, most people haven’t had this problem. We certainly haven’t seen any problems in our own testing, but we only have had 1 to play with thus far. In our opinion it isn’t much of a risk, especially if you can get it almost as a freebie!
Comes with a belt-holder on each tool, a bit holder on the drill, and a pair of lithium-ion 1.5A-h batteries.
